My name’s Nicola and I’m based in Cardiff, Wales. I created this website because watching films and talking about them is how I function.
I am passionate about women in film and have always been drawn to complex female characters (think Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Aurora Greenway in Terms of Endearment to name a few).
My pipe-dream is to have an Original Screenplay Oscar on my mantle piece one day and I hope to do this with a film that focuses on a strong female protagonist.
